Practice included white-collar criminal defense, federal and state civil and criminal investigations, attorney professional-responsibility matters, antitrust, securities-fraud and business litigation, election law, and appellate advocacy through the U.S. Supreme Court, and asset tracing and liquidation in the Tom Petters Ponzi scheme case. Serves on the executive committee and board of directors of the Minnesota Association of County Attorneys, as president of the Urban County Attorneys Association, and as a Minnesota Supreme Court-appointed member of the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board.
