Scandia is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, with a population of 3,984 at the 2020 census. It is governed by a mayor and city council and was incorporated as a city on January 1, 2007, after previously being a township. Scandia was the site of Minnesota's first Swedish immigrant settlement, established in 1850, and is home to the Gammelgården Museum, which preserves the area's Swedish heritage.
