Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District
Other · MN
Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District is a special-purpose local unit of government, formed by citizen petition in 1999, that manages water resources across about 49 square miles of northern Washington and southern Chisago counties. It is governed by a five-member board of managers, with two members appointed by the Chisago County Board and three by the Washington County Board, each serving three-year terms. Like other Minnesota watershed districts it is funded through property tax levies and grants.
